St. Joseph County grain farmer Larry Walton was elected to the Michigan Farm Bureau (MFB) Board of Directors in December 2015 as a Director At-Large.
Walton raises 500 acres of irrigated seed corn, soybeans, commercial corn and wheat near Centreville.Walton has a long history of active Farm Bureau involvement, including presidency of the St. Joseph County Farm Bureau. The third-generation farmer previously served on MFB’s state-level policy development committee; chaired the state Promotion and Education committee; and was honored as the organization’s Volunteer of the Year.He and his wife Angie have three children, Taylor, Morgan and Paige.
