With the former he traveled to Brazil, India and China; with Farm Bureau he’s visited both Australia and Ukraine on agricultural study missions.
Outside Farm Bureau, Sandborn has served in both the Michigan and National Corn Growers Associations. He’s served as Michigan Corn Growers president for two years, as past chair of the NCGA Ethanol Committee, and was elected to represent Michigan on the NCGA board of directors.
