Celebrating Our Members
There’s nothing we love more than shining the spotlight on Michigan Farm Bureau members. Michigan Farm Bureau issues a number of awards to member volunteers that recognize excellent work and contributions to Michigan Farm Bureau.
Young Farmer
Michigan Farm Bureau proudly recognizes up-and-coming leaders in the Farm Bureau organization and Michigan's agriculture industry through its annual Young Farmer Awards. Entrants compete for top honors in four categories: Achievement, Excellence in Agriculture, Agriculture Leader and Agriculture Employee.
Presidential Volunteer of the Year
Michigan Farm Bureau honors members who have exhibited a commitment to a specific program or event in their local community with this award. These individuals are instrumental to the success of that event or program and are eligible for Presidential Volunteer of the Year.
Distinguished Service to Agriculture
The Distinguished Service to Agriculture award is Michigan Farm Bureau's highest honor. Since 1956, we have presented this award to deserving individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the state's agricultural industry.
Educator of the Year
The Educator of the Year award is designed to recognize an educator's efforts to incorporate agriculture and natural resources into the school curriculum both in K-12 classrooms or in Agriscience Career and Technical Education programs.
