Information We Collect
We collect certain public and nonpublic information necessary for the pricing, underwriting and servicing of the insurance products you have applied for or that are already in force with Farm Bureau Insurance.

- Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or others (such as products purchased and policy coverage);
- Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency (such as motor vehicle reports and loss information); and
- Information from other sources (such as vehicle title information from the Secretary of State).
Sharing Information Within the Michigan Farm Bureau Family of Companies
Each of the insurance companies identified in this privacy notice and the FB Equity Sales Corporation of Michigan and FB Partners Group Premium Financing, LLC, are affiliates of each other and of the following organizations that provide representation and services for farmers and other members: Michigan Farm Bureau; Michigan Foundation for Agriculture; Michigan Farmland and Community Alliance; MFB, Inc.; Michigan Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Association, Inc.; and Great Lakes Ag Labor Services, LLC. We may disclose all of the information that we collect, as described above, with these affiliates, as permitted by law. This is done in order to offer you products or services that we believe may be of interest to you. We will obtain your permission prior to doing this, when required by law.
Information We Disclose Outside the Michigan Farm Bureau Family of Companies
We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except with your consent, for external processing, or as permitted or required by law. For example, we may disclose information to consumer reporting agencies, to prevent misrepresentation or fraud, to trusted businesses or persons to process your information based on our instructions and in compliance with our privacy policies and standards, or in response to a subpoena or other legal requirement.
We may also provide information including coverage and premium information to mortgage companies or other persons who have a legal or beneficial interest relating to your policy.
How We Protect Your Information
We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to persons who need to know that information so we may provide our products or services to you. We maintain physical, procedural, and electronic safeguards that comply with government regulations and established security standards to guard your nonpublic personal information.
