Know a student yelling GO GREEN this fall? Are they pursuing an agricultural career? If so, we have a scholarship opportunity for them!

Every fall Michigan Farm Bureau’s Marge Karker Scholarship offers multiple $1,000 awards to students enrolled in an ag program, whether a bachelor’s or graduate-level degree, or MSU’s Institute of Agricultural Technology program.

Applicants must be a dependent of a Farm Bureau member or have their own Farm Bureau membership. Application form and additional details are available online.

The Marge Karker Scholarship was launched in 1967 to help students pursuing agricultural studies at Michigan State University. Karker was involved with Michigan Farm Bureau for more than 37 years as both a volunteer leader and staff member. Her dynamic leadership in the Women’s Program originated organization-changing initiatives like Washington Legislative Seminar and laid the groundwork for today’s Promotion & Education program. Read more about her here.

Applications are due Oct. 1; contact Katie Cooper, 517-679-5688, for more information.
