Voters will soon head to the polls or complete their absentee ballots in advance of the state’s Aug. 6 primary election.
Michigan Farm Bureau encourages members to review who will appear on their ballot by visiting their easy-to-use candidate locator.

“It’s important to review offices up for election and the candidates’ names, in case you need to do research before casting your vote,” said MFB Government Relations Specialist, Matt Kapp. “We also hope you take time to cross-reference your ballot with the AgriPac-endorsed Friends of Agriculture, who have been vetted by county Farm Bureaus across the state.”
Kapp added that it’s not a bad idea to check both your ballot and polling locations since the 2022 redistricting maps are still relatively new.
You can double check the location by referencing your voter information card mailed by your clerk’s office, or by visiting the Michigan Voter Information Center provided by the Secretary of State’s office. The website also offers voters an opportunity to preview their ballot in its entirety.
Michigan Farm Bureau earlier this month announced its endorsement of
