Steve Williams, Williams Running W Farm, Howell, MI
Steve is the proud owner of Williams Running W Farm, nestled in Howell, Michigan. The farm is a testament to resilience and commitment, tracing its roots back to 1968 when Steve's parents first established it. Over the years, the farm has seen a diverse range of livestock ventures, including sheep, goats, beef cattle, veal calves, hogs, rabbits, turkeys, chickens, and ducks. Cash crops such as corn, soybeans, and winter wheat have also been integral to the operation.
Currently, Steve, in partnership with his wife, Heather, manages the 40-acre farm. The family farm has weathered tough times, and Steve takes immense pride in preserving this legacy. Despite challenges, the farm has stood strong, showcasing Steve's dedication to the land and the family's agricultural heritage.
The farm is a multifaceted operation, boasting Alpine dairy goats, warmblood horses, Golden Retrievers, hay, and a variety of garden vegetables. With three part-time employees, the farm continues to thrive, embracing growth and expansion.
