The Washington Legislative Seminar is back in 2025! Members will be heading to our nation’s capital to learn about national issues impacting agriculture, meet with Michigan’s Representatives and Senators, and much more!
During the seminar, March 25-27, Farm Bureau members will take a deep dive into the farm bill, tax reform and agricultural workforce. Attendees will hear from a lineup of American Farm Bureau staff and industry experts on these issues before going to Capitol Hill to discuss what they’ve learned — alongside their own stories — with members of Congress.
Since its origins in the 1960s, MFB’s Washington Legislative Seminar has given thousands of Michigan farmers the opportunity to share their stories face-to-face with their member of Congress. It makes a huge impact and demonstrates your commitment to the success of Michigan agriculture.
Participants traveling to Washington D.C. for this year’s seminar will also have time to take in some of the countless historical sites in the nation’s capital. Members can sign up for a Monuments by Moonlight tour, visit the U.S. Capitol and enjoy dinner with peers in some of downtown D.C.’s many fantastic restaurants.
