Eight district policy development meetings have been scheduled for June, with more happening later this summer. The meetings gather county Farm Bureau members like yourself to learn about emerging issues facing Michigan’s farms and agribusinesses, have discussions on how Farm Bureau can influence the direction or outcome of issues, and simply spend time socializing.
“We love seeing new and returning members at district policy development meetings,” said Emily Reinart, Michigan Farm Bureau’s grassroots policy outreach specialist. “It’s a low-pressure environment to share ideas, identify problems and opportunities, and determine how our organization might respond through changes to our state or national policy book.”

The final slate of policies is then considered by voting delegates at MFB’s annual meeting, Nov. 28-30 in Grand Rapids. Learn more
