Charlee Klink took Hiawathaland Farm Bureau’s outreach game to Big Bay de Noc School near Cooks last month, donating copies of Farm Boots and Tales of the Dairy Godmother to the school library and second-grade classroom.

The daughter of Hiawathaland members Kevin and Abbie Klink, Charlee is a member of a 4-H club led by Tammy Klink, also a Farm Bureau member, who organized Big Bay’s March is Reading Month event.

"Thanks to Farm Bureau’s Ag in the Classroom program, the second grade and library had books donated,” said a grateful Big Bay de Noc School District following Klink’s visit.

“Special thanks to Career in Education student Charlee Klink from Klink Farms for bringing these books in and reading to the 2nd grade!”

From the AFBF Foundation for Agriculture’s roster of Recommended Ag Books, both Farm Boots and Tales of the Dairy Godmother are available through Michigan Agriculture in the Classroom.
