Otsego County Farm Bureau celebrated National Ag Week (March 21-25) with a gift basket filled with Michigan food products for the first baby born at Otsego Memorial Hospital-Munson.
This year’s Ag Week baby is the newborn daughter of Alex and Taylor Meade. Weighing in at 6 pounds 5 ounces, Olivia Sue made her appearance at 1:03 p.m. Tuesday, March 22.
The basket included food products from Hilbert’s Honey, Kellogg, Dave’s Sweet Tooth Toffee, Gerber and Faygo. Other items included children’s books, baby socks made by Sue and Larry Nowak, a potted Christmas tree from Tim and Pat Kauska, nail services from Jenifer Purdy at Allure Hair and Nail Salon, and a fleece blanket from Tom and Cyn Prusakiewicz.
Other items were donated by Otsego County Farm Bureau and Alpine Maple Farms, and it was all contained in a Farm Bureau Insurance bag from Adam Korson of the Korson Insurance Agency in Gaylord.
