“I am pleased to announce the selection of Deb Dansby as vice president of our Marketing Division,” said Farm Bureau Insurance CEO Don Simon. “Her leadership across multiple industries, as well 10 years of direct experience in the insurance sector, make her a great fit for the position and valuable addition to the executive team.”
Dansby began her career as a certified public accountant with Deloitte & Touche. Later, she served in several strategic roles with the Accident Fund Insurance Company. Dansby then joined the Michigan Economic Development Corporation aiding the state of Michigan in job growth and private investment, particularly in innovative business sectors. Most recently, she worked at Rock Ventures (a Quicken Loan company) leading business development, innovation, and human resource management. Since May, Dansby has held a consultant role with Farm Bureau’s HRD Department developing its new management training program.

As vice president of Marketing, Dansby will be responsible for leading policyholder and membership growth through our exclusive agency force. As head of the Marketing Division, she will be at the forefront of the company’s embrace of innovation and use of digital tools to enhance the customer experience and sales of Farm Bureau Insurance products.
Dansby earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Hillsdale College. She and her family live in Fowlerville.
