The 2025 Southwest Michigan Farm Bureau District 1 Chili Cook-off and Young Farmer Discussion Meet was a huge success! Nearly $3,000 was raised for the Harvest for All program to be donated to local food banks in each county! Congratulations to the chili contestants Angela Shannon who won Sponsor category and Allison Heinitz who won the Individual category. St Joseph County took the trophy this year and also received the People's Choice award. The winners of the Young Farmer Discussion Meet were Emily Swift and Morgan Walton of St Joseph County and Chad Geoit of Kalamazoo County.
