Gladwin County Farm Bureau, in partnership with Duane Simpkins Farm Bureau Insurance, hosted a booth at the Gladwin Farm & Garden Show April 29.
The show attracted about 300 community members visiting all the different booths and vendors.
Gladwin’s booth shared a number of facets of both the farm and insurance side of the organization, from policy quotes and giveaway items to membership and educational activities for kids.
Visiting farmers were encouraged to post on a historical timeline when their farm started. Children colored pictures, searched for products made from corn in a bucket of shelled corn and planted a corn seed in an ice cream cone to take home.
It was an interactive day that was exciting for all.
