A pair of new additions to Michigan Farm Bureau’s home office staff have begun serving the needs of members statewide.
McKenzie Allison began work Sept. 2 as Michigan Farm Bureau’s new Member Experience Specialist, where she’ll be part of facilitating member-savings programs.
Allison comes to “The Farm Side” from Farm Bureau Insurance, where for the past five years she has helped organize the flow of claims to appraisers from catastrophic losses so customers were served promptly. Her customer-service experience will serve her well in MFB’s Member Benefits & Relations Department.
A graduate of Central Michigan University, Allison holds a bachelor’s degree in human services and community development.
She lives near Portland with her husband Tanner and their young daughter, Riverlyn. They hope eventually to own 20+ acres for their daughter, future kids and two dogs to run around on.
Outside work Allison enjoys spending time with family, and outdoors activities like fishing, hiking, bonfires and country concerts.
Courtney Munford started her new role as MFB’s new social media strategist on Sept. 9, responsible for managing the state organization’s presence on Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram and other popular online platforms.
Munford will work with MFB program managers to help amplify issues and topics relevant to member involvement and Michigan agriculture. She’ll also offer social-media support, resources and tools to county Farm Bureau staff.
Munford comes to us from Auto-Owners Insurance, where she established a solid track record as senior social media strategist, enhancing brand awareness, growing followers growth and engaging members.
A proud graduate of Michigan State University, she lives in Lansing with her rescued boxer mix, Muddy. She loves MSU sports, golf and tailgating in the fall. GO GREEN!
