Join us for our first Connecting our Community - Farmer to Consumer Conversation event at the Farmer's Market on Saturday, June 29, 2024! There is no need to register to attend - just look for the Hillsdale County Farm Bureau booth to get started and learn more!

Hillsdale County Farm Bureau is an agriculture organization focused on promoting the agriculture industry to non-farm audiences from schoolchildren to seniors and everyone in between!

So, what's this event all about and why should I attend?

Farmers and agriculture leaders will located throughout the Farmer's Market 8am to 1pm will be talking to you (consumer's) about what they do on the farm or in agriculture; answer questions about where your food comes from and help you navigate myths about the food industry. If you've never had an opportunity to talk to a local farmer, now is your chance to speak with them! All are welcome to visit us and all of the great vendors at the market! 

We will have "Bingo Cards" that will take you around the vendor booths to get your 'stamp'. Once you have completed your card, you can turn the card in for a prize. This is mostly adult-focused, but a good learning experience for children too! There will be several materials on hand for your kiddos as well, donated by Michigan Commodity groups like United Dairy of Michigan, Michigan Corn, Michigan Pork, Michigan Sugar and more! 

Lastly, a limited number of lunches will be provided - see our booth for details!
