Students grades 9-12 for the 2024-2025 school year should mark their calendars for Tuesday, September 17, 2024 for Agriculture Career Day! The event will be located at Welden Farms in Jonesville. Students from Hillsdale County Schools, Hudson, Addison, and Homer are invited to attend this one-day field trip to learn about all of the amazing careers that the agriculture-industry has to offer! Not sure you're interested in an agriculture career? We encourage high school students to check this out because.. did you know that an electrician, mechanics and sales are careers that support agriculture, but are not your typical "farming" atmosphere? 

While we are still recruiting speakers and topics for the event, please help encourage students to give this event a second look because you would be amazed at what we have in store! 

Hillsdale County Farm Bureau will be coordinating registration through the school districts and they will receive registration information in August. Parents, please encourage your children to reach out to their school counselor Fall 2024 to learn more! Registration is required to attend.
