Project RED (Rural Education Days)

April 23 - April 25, 2024 (All Day)

Call:

Rural Education Days (Project RED)

Washtenaw County Farm Bureau's Agriculture experience for local 3rd grade students,
located at the Washtenaw County Farm Council grounds!

The students visit stations where different commodities are presented, take a "Walk Thru" Michigan, visit the animal barn, and learn all about farm equipment! With the help of many area Ag organizations, including local farms, 4-H, and FFA, local 3rd grade students get a hands-on experience of Agriculture including materials to be taken back to the classroom.

Washtenaw County Farm Bureau is excited to facilitate this event every year!
Many volunteers and sponsors have supported this event year after year and we are beyond grateful for this support so we can continue to educate local 3rd graders on Agriculture right here in Washtenaw County.
