My roots began in Hudsonville and moved on to Cornerstone University, where I studied Education and competed in track and field. My wife, Shannon, met in college and have been married since 2005. It was two short years after Shannon and I married when we found ourselves taking guardianship of her younger siblings, ages 11 and 14 at the time. Her mom and dad both passed at young ages. While raising her siblings in Allendale, we began to start our family and now have four children of our own - London, Malachi, Nora Jo, and Oakleigh. We recently have moved from Allendale back to Hudsonville, where we now call home.

Education to Insurance - After a handful of years in education, a door was opened to work in sales. With an introduction to State Farm, I ended up getting my license and working there in 2011. It was in 2015 that I began pursuing the idea of starting my own agency. After prayerfully considering my next step, I was asked by Farm Bureau if I would like to open an agency. On October 5th, 2015, I opened my doors and started my agency. With over 10 years' experience in the insurance industry, I enjoy and look forward to helping others with their insurance needs. If I can be a resource for someone regarding their unique insurance, whether we are the best fit or not, my purpose is to help and guide them to find the best coverage.
