Farm Bureau Insurance has been recognized by the Detroit Free Press as one of Michigan’s Top Workplaces. The award, based entirely on employee feedback, celebrates Farm Bureau’s work culture and continuing reputation as an employer of choice in Michigan. 2024 represents the eighth time in the last nine years that we have been part of this prestigious list.
This year, Farm Bureau ranked # 9 in the large workplace category, or businesses with more than 500 employees. Other companies in the statewide top 10 included Plante Moran, Real Estate One, and MSU Federal Credit Union in East Lansing

The Top Workplaces award is based on employee feedback gathered through a confidential survey conducted by Energage, LLC, a leading provider of employee engagement technology. The survey captures insights into employee satisfaction and engagement, measuring several key elements of workplace culture, including how employees feel respected, supported, and empowered to grow and execute their roles. This year, 276 companies participated, and more than 88,000 Michigan employees were surveyed.
