Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan has been awarded a 2020 Top Workplaces honor by the Detroit Free Press.
“Farm Bureau Insurance is filled with dedicated employees who work every day to accomplish our mission of protecting the people of Michigan from the risks of everyday life,” said CEO Don Simon. “We are extremely honored to be recognized for the fifth time in the last six years as a Top 100 Workplace in Michigan. This award reflects the caliber, energy, and exemplary efforts of each of our employees.”
The Top Workplaces lists are based on various aspects of workplace culture including Alignment, Execution, and Connection, just to name a few. The Free Press partnered with Philadelphia-based Energage, an employee research and culture technology firm, to determine the winners. The rankings are based solely on employee survey feedback that is then analyzed based on Energage's objective criteria. Energage performs the surveys for media partners in metropolitan areas across the United States.
This year, Farm Bureau Insurance ranked #17 in the large workplaces category among other corporations in Michigan like MSU Federal Credit Union, Edward Jones, and Plante Moran. Prior to earning a spot on this year’s list, Farm Bureau Insurance was also recognized with the Top Workplace award in 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2019.
