Agent Mark Hop of Holland, Michigan was awarded the Farm Bureau Insurance Distinguished Sales Award (DSA) for outstanding sales and service across 2021 at the Farm Bureau Insurance Multi-Line Marketing Convention in February of 2022. This is Hop’s fifth consecutive year capturing the statewide honor and eighth overall. Hop previously brought home the award for the years of 2006, 2008, 2009, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020.
The DSA is the top sales honor given each year and represents the highest performance achievement for an individual in the company. It is presented to one statewide winner for exceptional personal accomplishments and contribution to the success of the Farm Bureau Insurance Companies.
Over the past year, Hop has finished first in Life Commissions, Life Volume, Life Policies and New Agricultural Premium. He also earned the number one position in the Life Elite Club for the seventh year in a row. Also ranking with consistently high levels of retention and persistency, Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan CEO, Don Simon, noted, “Mark is very proud of his persistency. As one of Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan’s most tenured and respected agents, Mark is the first agent to achieve the Double Platinum level of the prestigious Praesidium Club.
