Farm Bureau leaders across District 3 met recently to discuss the need for connecting members with RUP credit-training opportunities around the state.
The good news is producers have until June 30 to renew their existing credentials, as the usual year-end deadline was extended due to COVID.

A list of meetings offering RUP credits is available at https://www2.mda.state.mi.us/schedule/schedule.html. Choose a month from the dropdown menu at the top.
“Almost all the meetings listed are being held virtually and a member would just need to reach out to whatever contact is listed for the specific event to get themselves registered,” said Teresa Sisung, MFB field crops and advisory team specialist. “Most include online surveys at the end of the meeting to track attendance, then the organizer submits that to MDARD so growers receive their credits.”
