Having the right equipment on hand is essential to minimize damage when a fire breaks out. This harvest season, make sure your farm equipment and work areas are equipped with the appropriate fire extinguishers to keep you safe.
Portable extinguishers can keep small fires from becoming big ones, protecting you, colleagues, customers and property in your residence, barn, tractor or shop.
SAVINGS ALERT: Farm Bureau members can get deep discounts on select extinguishers and other safety equipment through Oct. 31, 2024 — and Grainger will even cover the shipping! - Class A: Ordinary combustible materials like wood or paper
- Class B: Combustible liquids and flammable gases
- Class C: Energized electrical equipment
- Class D: Combustible metals like magnesium and titanium
- Class K: Cooking appliances with combustible media like oils and fats
