Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan has been awarded a 2021 Top Workplaces honor by the Detroit Free Press.
“This award is the result of hundreds of Farm Bureau employees working hard every day to create and maintain a positive culture focused on exemplary service,” said CEO Don Simon. “We are extremely proud to be part of this list and to be recognized for the sixth time in the last seven years as a Top 100 Workplace in Michigan.”
For the 14th year, The Free Press partnered with Philadelphia-based Energage, an employee research and culture technology firm, to determine the winners. After being nominated, companies were invited to have their employees participate in a survey regarding issues related to workplace culture. Employee survey feedback was the sole basis for determining winners and rankings. The survey also gave participating companies insights about what makes them unique and served as the ultimate test of how employers are responding in the age of COVID.
This year, Farm Bureau Insurance ranked #11 in the large workplace’s category among other corporations in Michigan like Plante Moran, Real Estate One, and Ally Financial. Prior to earning a spot on this year’s list, Farm Bureau Insurance was also recognized with the Top Workplace award in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2019, and 2020.
